THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida
Thursday, June 5, 1957

Amos L. Rabberman, resident of Flagler Beach for the past five years, died at his home there early Wednesday morning after and illness of several weeks.

Mr. Rabberman, former mayor of the town, suffered a paralytic stroke four years ago and has been confined to a wheel chair, or in bed, since.

He was born in Chesterhill, Ohio in March 1879, and had been a winter visitor to Florida for 20 years before settling in Flagler Beach. He was at one time connected with the Pennsylvania Drilling Company and made his home in Pittsburgh.

Before his illness, Mr. Rabberman was an ardent fisherman and was active in civic and political affaires of Flagler Beach.

Tentative arrangements call for funeral services at the Baptist Church at the Beach, and shipment of the remains to Pittsburgh for burial. Baggett and McIntosh of Daytona Beach are in charge.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Mark Kerns of Pontiac, Michigan. Mrs. Martha Toynsbee, a close friend of the family, was a constant companion during Mr. Rabberman’s illness.
