THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida

Word was received here this week of the recent death of Ralph L. Ramsey who died at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Ramsey was executive director of the State Teachers Retirement Fund of Georgia at the time of his death. He formerly served as executive secretary of the Georgia Education Association.

Mr. Ramsey served as pastor of the Bunnell Methodist Church here for two years, leaving in 1919. He had many friends here who will regret to learn of his death.

Governor Ellis Arnall said that Georgia had "lost one of her very finest public officials." He ordered that the state capitol be closed and the flag be flown at halfmast in his honor.

Mr. Ramsey was 56 years of age.
