Funeral Services were held last Friday afternoon at two o'­clock in the Baggett-McIntosh Chapel in Daytona for Charles E. Ranger, 76, who passed away on Wednesday evening at the Halifax District Hospital there after an extended illness. Burial followed at Shady Rest Cemetery in Holly Hill with Elder, Cecil Graves officiating.

Mr. Ranger, a native of Michigan came to Flagler Beach in 1924 and served as Postmaster here from 1925 until 1945 and later moved to. Holly Hill. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church...

Among his survivors are his wife Mrs. Nettie Ranger of Daytona Beach, and three daughters Mrs. Mabel Cheney of Lansing, Michigan, Mrs. Kate Sapp from Hoboken, Ga., and Mrs. Mariel Mosby of Flagler Beach.
