Funeral services for Lee Gonder Reaves, who died at his home in Espanola early Monday morning, was held Wednesday at his former home in McRae, Georgia.

Mr. Reaves was a native of Georgia, but had resided in Espanola for the past two years. He was 83 years of age and was a school teacher by profession.

Due to failing health, Mr. Reaves had been confined to his home for several years.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary L. Reaves and two sons, W. J. and L. G. Reaves, Jr., all of Espanola. Also surviving are three grandchildren.

Members of the family accompanied the body to McRae Monday for the services. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Carl W. Davis and son of Palatka.
