William Mann Richardson, 69-year-old resident of Bunnell, died at his home on Church Street, Monday afternoon after a few days of acute illness.

Mr. Richardson was a native of Michigan but had lived in Flagler county for 30 years, most of which time he lived in Bunnell.

He was a disabled veteran of the Spanish-American War, having served in the Philippines during his period of service. For a number of years he was assistant rural mail carrier here, but resigned the position when his physical condition became seriously impaired some time ago.

He was a member of the local Methodist Church and served as a Sunday school teacher in that church for many years.

Funeral services were held today from the First Methodist Church with Rev. A. A. Godfrey, officiating. Burial was made at the National Cemetery in St. Augustine.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flossie Richardson of Bunnell; one brother, Leo Richardson of Coral Gables, and a first cousin, Mrs. Margaret Buzzard of Fort Lauderdale.

Pallbearers were E. S. Morris, T. E. Holden, A. M. McDaniel, Lee Blakely, John Rice and Marvin Parker. Carl Davis Funeral Home of Palatka was in charge of burial arrangements.
