Tilman Robinson Jr., local delivery boy for the Florida Times Union, was injured fatally and two men were hospitalized after a collision between a compact car and a tractor at the intersection of I-95 and 100 west of Bunnell, at 6:40 Monday morning.

Young Robinson was dead on arrival at the hospital. Injured was the father, Tilman W. Robinson, driver of the car, and E. Smith of Briston, Georgia, driver of the tractor.

Young Robinson and his father were enroute home from Flagler Beach after delivering papers when the accident occurred at the intersection where construction was underway at the 1-95 intersection.

Mr. Robinson, Sr., and Mr. Smith are in the Halifax Hospital receiving treatment for minor injuries.

Funeral services for Tilman W. Robinson, Jr., will be held from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell at 10 o’clock Friday morning, Dec. 31. Rev. Thomas M. Pinner, Jr., will officiate. Interment will follow the same afternoon at 4:30 in the Wauchula Cemetery, Wauchula, Florida. Coker Funeral Home of Wauchula is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call after 7:30 Thursday evening at the Craig Chapel, 201 East Moody, Bunnell.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tilman W Robinson, Bunnell; 4 brothers, Bobby, Mike, Bryant, and Jerry; 1 sister, Jane, all of Bunnell; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bartow Williams, Zolfo Springs, Florida.

Tillman, Jr., was the local delivery boy for the Florida Times Union and was fatally injured in an accident at 6:45 a.m. on Highway 100 at the I-95 interchange. He was 17 years of age and a student of the Bunnell High School.
