Dr. Joseph Rubin, a young doctor from New York City, was fatally injured in an automobile accident about nine miles north of Bunnell Friday afternoon.

Dr. Rubin and his traveling companion, Richard Nolan, were brought to the Flagler Clinic and Hospital by a Craig ambulance. They were reported to have received severe chest injuries. Dr. Rubin died about three hours after the accident. He was 28 years old.

They were traveling north on U. S. Highway 1 at an apparent high rate of speed when the compact car overturned on a curve. Both men were thrown from the car which turned over several times.
