Mrs. Anna Safarik, aunt of Mrs. Jerry Slovak of Korona, died late Wednesday afternoon, June 1, in the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach.

Mrs. Safarik was a native of Czechoslovakia and was a resident of Brooklyn for a number of years before coming to Korona six months ago to reside. She was 75 years of age.

Survivors include two sons, John and Martin of Czechoslovakia; a number of grandchildren, neices and nephews.

The Rosary was said at 8 o'clock Sunday evening at the chapel of Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell. Funeral services were held from St. Mary's, Catholic Church in Korona at 8:30 Monday morning. Interment followed at Espanola Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were: Andrew Zalewski, Paul Stanish, Daniel Smigielski, Stanley Smigielski, Stanley Kozak, and Henry Mikulka. Honorary were: John Walker, Barney Trojan, M. M. Koczwanski, and Jacob Jaszczak.
