		  Mrs.  Edna M. Schappert of Ormond Beach, former Republican Committeewoman of Flagler  Beach, passed away Thursday, August 17, at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona  Beach.
		  She  resided in Richmond Hill, Long Island, N.Y. before coming to Flagler Beach  where she resided with her husband for 11 years. They moved to Ormond Beach  almost three years ago residing at 69 Margaret Road.
		  Survivors  include her husband, Philip Schappert of Ormond Beach; one son, Albert Baron of  Hollis, Long Island, N.Y.; two step-daughters, Marguerite George, East Norwich,  Long Island, N.Y.; and Ethel Kaddick of Bay Shore, Long Island, N.Y.; two  sisters, Elizabeth Cordell, Lynnbrook and Mrs. Van Heinz, Baltimore, Md.
		  Also  surviving are two grandsons, Rev. Don Baron, Lutheran Missionary, and Alan  George of Omaha, Neb.; one granddaughter, Marilyn Thomas, Flushing, New York.  Also several nieces and nephews.
		  Funeral  service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodward-Lowther at Ormond  Beach. The body was sent to Lynnbook, New York for interment.
