George A. Shamblen, resident of Flagler County since 1917, died Sunday morning at the home of a son in Charleston, West Virginia from cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr. Shamblen went to West Virginia in March. Shortly after arrival he suffered a stroke and two later on.
While a resident of Flagler County he was engaged in farming.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Rudye I. and George, Jr., of Bunnell, and Raymond of Charleston; three daughters, Mrs. Tonie Benio of New Orleans; Mrs. Daniel Harding of Holly Hill, and Mrs. Nina Kersey of St. Augustine; three brothers, L. Rudye and Aldridge of Bunnell, and Dr. Earle L. of Charleston.
Burial will be in the family plot in a Charleston cemetery Wednesday morning.
