Dr. Pandora Simpson, winter resident of Flagler Beach since 1934, died suddenly at six o’clock Tuesday morning at her home there.

Dr. Simpson, who was a medical doctor, was born in Radford, Virginia on June 11, 1886. She spent twenty-nine years as a medical missionary in India where she held the distinction of being honored by the British Government for her service as head of the Good Samaritan Hospital in India. She was awarded the Kauser S’heind badge by the British government.

Miss Kirk Simpson will accompany the body to Radford where funeral and burial services will be held on Saturday of this week. Haigh and Brooks Funeral Home of Daytona Beach are in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Edgar Johnson, Miss Kirk Simpson and Miss Elizabeth Simpson of Flagler Beach and Radford.
