Charles E. Sisco, age 63, died suddenly late Sunday afternoon at his home here on Railroad Street following a short illness from influenza. Mr. Sisco had been confined to his home for about ten days but was not in bed. An extremely hard fit of coughing brought too great a strain upon his heart resulting in his death.

Mr. Sisco came to Flagler County about 22 years ago from Ramsey, N. J. and was for a time active in the political and business life of the county, having served as county commissioner and town commissioner. He established and operated several business concerns here.

Surviving the deceased are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. C. O. Magee of Bunnell; two sons, Roy, of Ramsey, N. J. and Joy, of Jacksonville, and a brother Carol of Ramsey, N. J.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. J. M. DeVette officiating. Interment was made in the Espanola Cemetery.

Pallbearers were B. C. Stafford, W. H. McKenzie, F. L. Byrd, E. F. Warner, George Biddle, and Z. E. Booe.
