Lewis J. Slaugh of Flagler Beach passed away at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach Tuesday evening following a short illness. He was 59 years old.

Mr. Slaugh was a native of Lancaster, Pa., and was employed as a linotype operator for a daily paper there for 23 years. He retired 12 years ago and moved to Flagler Beach to reside. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam of Flagler Beach; one son, Elmer Slaugh of Flagler Beach.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Friday evening at the Chapel of Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell, 201 East Moody Blvd. Funeral service will be at 9 o'clock Saturday morning from the St. Stephens Catholic Church here. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Paul Stanish, Brad Bowen, Roy McNab, Silvio Felice, Charles McCabe, and Leo Rife.

The body will rest at the Craig Funeral Chapel from 5 o'clock Friday afternoon until the funeral hour.
