Mrs. Agnes B. McArn, pioneer resident of Flagler County, died in the Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine this morning at ten o'clock following a short illness.

Mrs. McArn, who was 69 years of age, was a native of Walterboro, S. C., but had lived in Flagler County for the past 45 years. She was the widow of the late G. C. McArn.

Mrs. McArn had engaged in the mercantile business here for many years and also owned and operated the McArn Tourist Home. She was a member of the Bunnell Methodist Church since its organization over 40 years ago. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

She is survived by a son, George C. McArn, Jr., and two grandchildren, Gloria and George C. McArn, III, all of Bunnell. Also two brothers, E. F. Smith of Walterboro, S. C., and C. C. Smith of Ruffin, S. C., and several neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the First Methodist Church here Saturday afternoon at 2 o'­clock, with Rev. Robert Carr, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery in St. Augustine with Garcia Funeral Home in charge.
