Mrs. Emma S. Parker, sister of Mrs. Louie Hart of Bunnell died at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Saturday afternoon. She resided in Bunnell about 1936 and 1937 and taught in the primary department of the Bunnell School a short time.

Mrs. Parker was born in Holly Hill and lived there most of her life. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church of Holly Hill. She also was a deaconess of the church. She formerly was a school teacher at the Holly Hill School and then a CAA operations communicator at the Municipal Airport.

Survivors include her husband, Charles W., meteorologist in charge of the Airport weather bureau in Daytona; her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Somers, Holly Hill; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Hart, Bunnell; three brothers, Richard W., Daytona Beach Russell, Holly Hill and George Jacksonville.

Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Baggett-McIntosh Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Deck, pastor, Holly Hill Union Congregational Church, officiating. Burial was in the Shady Rest Cemetery.
