Mrs. Naomi Smith, mother of Raymond Smith of Bunnell, died Friday afternoon at the Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville following a lengthy illness.

She was a native of Rockmill, Ala., and came to Bunnell in 1938 from Monroeville, Ala. She was .69 years of age and was a retired practical nurse. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Clarice Cruse of Hastings; one son, Raymond Smith of Bunnell; one sister, Mrs. Ray Stewart of San Diego, Calif. Also surviving are 13 grand- children and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. Thomas Pinner, officiating.

Burial was held Tuesday at 3 P. M. in Monroeville, Alabama. Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of local arrangements.

Pallbearers were Clyde Lewis, Henry Wells, W. L. Dunson, Ralph Harbert, T. K. McKnight, and Walter Cody.
