Judson Philip Stryker, Sr. of Flagler Beach passed away Wednesday evening at the Bunnell General Hospital following an illness of several months duration. He had been receiving treatment in the hospitals for cancer.

He was a native of Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Flagler Beach about ten years ago from Wakeman, Ohio. He was a bridge tender with the State Road Department, serving at the Flagler Beach Intracoastal Waterway bridge.

He is survived by his wife, Irene of Flagler Beach; a daughter Mrs. Judith Newberry, Daytona Beach; two sons, Judson Stryker, Jr. and Terence Stryker, both of Flagler Beach; his father, Robert B. Stryker, Collins, Ohio; a sister Mrs. Ruth Evans, Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Robert D. Stryker of Collins, Ohio.

Funeral services were held at three p. m. Saturday afternoon from the First Baptist Church of Flagler Beach. Former pastor Rev. Atlee Stevens officiated. Interment followed at the Bellevue Memorial Cemetery in Daytona Beach.

Pallbearers were Donald Nat­wick, Charles Ruggles, Clinton Jones, Louis Ouellette, Ben Clay and Bob Scholz.
