Morris E. Stults. 74, father of Mrs. Clifford Higginboth­am, Bunnell, died Friday in, his home at 2404 Sunset Dr., Tampa.

A native of Jay County Indiana, he was a member of the Indiana Bar, and an accountant and banker for 30 years. During his career he served as Chief Bank Examiner of Indiana for 13 years, cashier of the First National Bank of Gainesville for seven years, executive vice president of the Exchange Bank of St. Augustine for four years, and was cashier of the Springs State Bank in Tampa for three years. He was a World War I veteran and served as Captain in an Indiana National Guard medical detachment.

He had lost three. sons in the military, 1st Lt. Paul M. Stults, US Army; 1st Lt. Richard L. Stults, US Marine Corps; and Lt. JG Max  W. Stults, US Navy Air Corp. All three sons died while serving their country.

Funeral services for Mr. Stults were held Monday afternoon at the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Irvine H. Williams, Pastor, officiating, The Rev. Donald L. Edwin, assisted. Interment followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Stults is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pauline A. Stults; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Higginbotham, Bunnell; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
