Miami, May 9 - - C. J. Sukup, 30 years old, an employee of the Florida East Coast Railway here, shot himself to death in his home tonight. Friends believe that despondency, because his wife had left him, was responsible for his act.

It is said that Mrs. Sukup left last night. Tonight she returned to get her personal effects. Five minutes after she departed neighbors heard a shot. Sukup was dead when they found him. His six-year-old child was in. an adjoining room

C. .J. Sukup was formerly a resident of Bunnell and in the employ of Mr. M. J. Cole during the construction of: canals in this district; was a. splendid young fellow and well liked by all who knew him.
