Fredric W. Swimme of Flagler Beach died Monday night at the Veterans Hospital in Lake City where he had been a patient for the past three weeks.

Mr. Swimme was a native of Spencer, W. Va., and was a retired Lieutenant of  the U. S. Coast Guard where he had served for 28 years. He also served in the U. S. Navy during World War I. He had resided at Flagler Beach for the past six years and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 200. He was 64 years of age.

Funeral services will be held from the St. Thomas. Episcopal Church of Bunnell at 10 o'clock this morning. The pastor, Rev. James Taylor, will officiate. The body rested at the Craig Funeral Chapel from 7 o'clock Wednesday night until the funeral hour. Following the services here, the body will be shipped to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia for interment beside his wife who preceded him in death about six weeks ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. W. C. Greenfield, Cape May, N. J.; four sisters, Mrs. J. M. Duncan of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Allen Brewer of Pikesville, Ky.; Mrs. Polk McDonald of Vicksburg, Miss.; Mrs. Robert L. Poe of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Harry T. Swimme, San Antonio, Texas; Seneca Swimme of Portsmouth, Va.; James K. Thweatt of Beaumont, Texas. One great aunt, Mrs. Johns Eves of Lavatte, W. Va. Also surviv­ing are three grandchildren.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell is in charge of local arrangements.
