Howard 'Taylor Jr., 48, former county agent in Flagler County, died Feb. 19 at Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Taylor was a native of Fort Pierce and worked as an inspector with the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture. He was a graduate of Fort Pierce High School and the University of Florida.

Mr. Taylor worked for a time with the U.S. Sugar Corp and also served as assistant county agent in Duval County. He was a veteran of World War II and was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ethel F. Taylor and a sister, Mary Taylor Wrobleski, both of Fort Pierce.

Graveside, services were conducted at the Fort Pierce Cemetery with the Rev. Miles Heckendorn officiating.
