Cecil Daniel Thacker, 70, Flagler Beach Trailer Park, died Tuesday, October 29 at Bunnell General Hospital.

He was born in Covington, Va. and resided at Portsmouth, Va. 2 years before, moving to Flagler County in 1963. He retired from the US Naval Service in 1961. He was a Life member of the Disabled American Veterans; member of the American Legion Post No. 9 and Loyal Order of Moose.

Survivors include his wife, Alice, Flagler Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Edna P. France and Mrs. Lucille Redmon, both of Troy, Va.; a son, Leroy Thacker, San Diego, Calif.; and four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Paxton, Clifton Fords, Va.; Mrs. Edith Persinger, and Mrs. Virgie Helper, both of Covington, Va. and Mrs. Blanche Helms, San Diego.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 1 at B. A. Bishop Funeral Home, Alma, Ga. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Alma, Ga.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge of arrangements.
