Eugene H. (Tomee) Thomas, 52, 100 Palm Circle, Flagler Beach, a musician who played for many years in Flagler and Volusia night spots, died in Ormond Beach Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Thomas, a native of Des Moines, Iowa, moved to Flagler Beach eight years ago from Ormond Beach. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Flagler Beach First Baptist Church.

Among his hobbies were landscape painting and constructing model ships.

His survivors include his widow, Ruth; his mother; three daughters, Carolyn Tate, Jerusalem; Kathleen and Elizabeth, both of Flagler Beach; two sons, Kenneth and David, both of Flagler Beach; one sister and three brothers.

The family requested, in lieu of other memorials, that donations be made to a favorite charity.
