	      Fred B. Tidwell, aged 57, cousin of W. J. Tidwell of this  county, died Sunday morning in the veteran's hospital at Lake  City of heart dropsy, the deceased  having been a patient in the Lake   City hospital for about a  month.
	      The deceased was a veteran of the Spanish-American War,  having served on naval ships and took part in the bottling up of the Spanish  fleet at Havana, Cuba harbor. He was a native of Savannah, Georgia,  but spent his early life in St.    Augustine. He returned to Flagler  County from Ironton, Ohio,  with his family, he being committed to the veteran's hospital shortly after  he arrived here.
	      The body was taken to St. Augustine where it was given a military  burial by the Spanish-American veteran’s organization there Tuesday p.m. The  flag, which draped the casket, was presented to a daughter of the deceased.
	      Surviving the deceased are his widow, and two children,  Audrey and Walter, all of whom are making their home here.
