Harry Treadwel1, 73, former Flagler Beach City Commissioner, died Friday, December 6 at the Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine after a lengthy illness.

He was a native of Atlanta, Ga. and moved to Flagler Beach 9 years ago from Winston Salem, N. C. He was a retired freight and passenger agent of the Santa Fe Railroad. He was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of St. Augustine Lodge No. 98 F&AM, and was a member of the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Aileen, Flagler Beach; his mother, Mrs. Mrs. John J. Treadwell, St. Augustine; and a brother, Sidney Treadwell, Clermont, Florida.

Funeral services were at 3 p. m. Sunday at the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church with the Rev. Reynold Hoover, pastor, officiating. Masonic graveside services were conducted by Bunnell Lodge No. 200 F&AM at Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers were F red Marks, Lyman Gage, Bob Henderson, Kenneth Whitney, Leonard Johnson and Vernon Raymond.
