John R. Tucker, 61, died Monday evening about six o'clock from a stroke suffered about noon of the same day.

Mr. Tucker had had a stroke several years ago, but had recovered. He, however, had experienced failing health for several years,

He came to Bunnell eight years ago from Cocoa, owning and operating a grocery business here,

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the First Baptist Church here with Rev. J. M. Dickson, pastor of the, church, officiating. Burial will be made, that afternoon at Cocoa, with Haigh and Brooks Funeral Home of Daytona Beach, in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Tucker of Bunnell, four sons, Frank of Cocoa; Spurgeon of Dover; Willard of Bunnell and Richard of Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Cox of Cocoa and Mrs. Anna Jacobs of Chuluota, Florida; one brother, Roy Tucker.

Pallbearers are Bion Matherly, Otis Magee, Johnnie Mercer, George Durrance, W. C. Sullivan, and Henry Wells.
