THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida

A colored man, member of the county convict crew working in the rock pit at Alligator branch, ran under a falling tree one evening last week and was rendered unconscious by a blow on the head by one of the limbs, from the effects of which he died during the night.

One of the peculiarity of the case was that no bones were broken, nor was the skin at any place bruised as to show just where the blow fell. Medical attention failed to bring any results and he expired at 12 o’clock that night without regaining consciousness.
