Clarence W. Ward, 56-year-old Bunnell resident, died Tuesday morning at 5:40 in the Memorial Hospital in Ocala after an illness of several weeks.

Mr. Ward was born and reared in Coleman, Florida, but came to Bunnell six years ago where he entered the grocery business in which he continued to his death.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Ward; three daughters, Mrs. C. B. Eisenbach and Miss Ferrell Ward of Bunnell, and Mrs. N. B. Sommer of Fallon, Nevada; one son, TSgt H. E. Ward now serving with an armored division on the Western Front in Europe; three sisters, Mrs. T. J. Ward and Mrs. C H. Mizelle of Coleman and Mrs. M. P. Beaumont of Wildwood. Three grandchildren also survive him.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Coleman Baptist Church Friday at 4 P. M. with the Rev. W. S. Wade, the pastor, assisted by the Rev. M. B. Cox, pastor of the Coleman Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Adamsville Cemetery.
