Thursday, January 24, 1980Hubert E. Ward, better known as “Red,” died last week at the age of 62. He lived at 1219 Flagler Ave., Flagler Beach.
Burial took place Tuesday in his birthplace Coleman, after a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bunnell First Baptist Church with Rev Max Hall officiating.
Mr. Ward was a retired butcher. He had moved back to Flagler Beach from California a year ago.
Survivors include two sons, Lloyd, los Gatos, Calif., and Edward, San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Leona Eisenbach, Bunnell, and Evelyn Stewart, Fallon, Nev.; and three grandchildren
The family requested that, in lieu of other remembrances, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
