Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the funeral home of Baggett, Wetherby and McIntosh in Daytona Beach for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gage who died Thursday morning at her home at Englewood Dairy, north of Flagler Beach, following an illness of several months. She was 71 years of age.

Rev. Milford Lyons was in charge of the services. Interment followed at the Hillside cemetery in Ormond.

Mrs. Gage was born in Kentucky, where resided before coming to Flagler County 20 years ago. She was the widow of D. L. Gage, who died several years ago.

She is survived by four daughters, Miss Flora Gage and Mrs. Bruce Chester of Flagler Beach; Miss Emily Gage of Jacksonville; and Mrs. C. L. Hoppe, of Blue Mound, Ill.; and one son, Lyman L. Gage of Flagler Beach. Also surviving are two sisters in Illinois and two granddaughters.

Active pallbearers were D. F. Fuquay, A. D. Buchanon, and H. Rowley of Daytona Beach and J.H. McKnight, Dale Brown and T. E. Holden of Bunnell.
