Mrs. Martha Wedden, mother of Mrs. P. F. Hudson, died at Flagler Beach Wednesday morning. Mrs. Wedden had been seriously ill for the last two weeks, unconscious most of that time. She was 84 years old and has been making her home with her daughter in Flagler Beach for some time.

Mrs. Wedden, who was born in Georgia, is of a very prominent family of that state. The body was carried to Palatka, former home of the Hudson family, and will be carried from Palatka to Sandersville, Ga., where the funeral and interment will held.

Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Hudson and Mr. and Mrs. Wash Beach, of Tampa, will accompany the body to the Georgia city.

Mrs. Wedden is survived by four daughters, Mrs. P. F. Hudson, Mrs. Wash Beach, Mrs. H. J. Lemp of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Miss Nellie Wedden of Charlotte, N. C., and by one son, C. W. Wedden of Chicago, besides a number of grandchildren.

Friends of the family here and in Flagler Beach deeply sympathize with Mrs. Hudson and family in their sorrow.
