Charles E. (Chick) Wendlandt, 53, Flagler Beach, died Saturday, Feb. 18 at Bunnell General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Burlington, Iowa, he moved to Flagler Beach about 25 years ago from there. He was a former kiln burner with Lehigh Portland Cement Plant at Flagler Beach, and was a charter member and past president of the Flagler Beach Lions Club.

Survivors include his son, Charles E Windlandt, Jr., Flagler Beach; his mother, Mrs. Mae Wendlandt, Portland, Ore.; and one brother, James Wendlandt, Portland, Ore.
