James Fletcher (Red) Westbrook, 72, San Mateo, died Sunday after a short illness. Mr. Westbrook was a retired heavy equipment operator and a resident of San Mateo for 21 years. A former Bunnell resident, he was a native of Greensboro, Ala. and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ft. Pierce, and the Palatka Skeet Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Betty Joe Greer and Mrs. Margaret Warren Grace, both of Ft. Pierce, Mrs. Dorothy Wilkinson, San Mateo; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Jatros, Ft. Lauderdale; two brothers, Clyde Westbrook, Dallas, Texas and E.O. Westbrook, Wetumpka, Ala.; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services wert: held at 3 p.m. Monday at Masters Memorial Chapel with Rev. Edward Davis, Pastor of San Mateo Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Ft. Pierce with Rev. Charles McIntosh, Pastor of Sun Rise Blvd. Baptist Church, officiating. Masters Funeral Home, Palatka, is in charge.
