Mrs. C. D. Yelvington of 1315 Jarecki Street, Holly Hill, died about 8:30 Tuesday morning in the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach following a brief illness. She was 69 years of age.

She was the former Miss Mamie Wilson of St. Augustine. After her marriage to Mr. Yelvington 52 ½ years ago they resided in Hastings until they moved to Bunnell about thirty-three years ago. They have resided in Holly Hill about eighteen years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ormond Beach.

She is survived by her husband, C. D. Yelvington, Holly Hill; five sons, Carl and Harold of Holly Hill; Wallace of Daytona Beach, E. A. of Miami, and Emery L. of Dallas Texas. One brother E. P. Wilson, Miami; one sister, Mrs. Onie McLane, Stuart; two half-sisters, Mrs. Emmett Campbell, Hastings, and Mrs. L. A. Bass of St. Augustine.

Also surviving are four grandsons, L. A. (Andy) Yelvington of Miami, and Emery Jr., Charles, and Donald Yelvington of Dallas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Chapel of Baggett-McIntosh Funeral Home, South Beach St., Daytona Beach. Rev. Paul Lack, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ormond Beach will officiate. Interment will follow at the Shady Rest Cemetery, Holly Hill.
