Doyel Wolfenbarger of Daytona Beach drowned Monday night when he fell from the tug boat Bob Jack into !the East Coast Canal. The tug boat, owned by Cleary Construction Co., ran aground about 11 miles north of the Flagler Beach Inland Waterway Bridge, where the accident occurred.

Wolfenbarger, 47, was born in Granger County, Tennessee, and moved to Daytona Beach in 1954. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. H. P. Ledward of Daytona Beach; a son, Freddie Joe of the U. S. Marine Corps; a sister, Mrs. Ann Rocker of Statesboro, Ga.; and his grandmother, Mrs. Belle Wolfenbarger of Knoxville, Tenn.

The body was forwarded last night to Rose Funeral Home in  Knoxville for funeral services and interment.
