Sam Woodruff of Burlington, Iowa, passed away on August 12 in the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, according to information received this week by Mrs. Walter Green of Flagler Beach.

Mr. Woodruff was an accountant for the New York office of the Walsh Construction Company, and had resided at Flagler Beach during the construction and also the additions of the Lehigh Cement Plant. He had also spent some time there last year while on sick leave.

He was a member of the Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles, and was a veteran of World War One. He was 64 years of' age.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George Meyer of Burlington, and Mrs. Albert Swartz of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Lloyd of Burlington and Grant of St. Petersburg.
