George Yonkers, one time postmaster at St. Johns Park, died in Lakeland Friday, November 16, at the home of his son, George Yonkers, Jr. Cause of death was ascribed to paralysis.
It was stated that Mr. Yonkers had planned to spend the winter with his son in Lakeland and seemed to be in good health and fine spirits upon his arrival there a short time ago.
Surviving the deceased are Joseph Yonkers, of St. Johns Park, and three children, George Jr., Mrs. Edith Farmer of St. Johns Park and Mrs. Dale B. Brown, of Bunnell.
