Homer M. Anderson, 57, 74 Anderson St., St. Augustine, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 1974 at his home.
He was born, in Bonifay, and was employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of WWII, member of the Ancient City Baptist Church, American Legion Post 37, National Assn. of Letter Carriers, and the Second Infantry Division Assn.
Funeral services were Thursday at the Craig Funeral Home Chapel, St. Augustine with the Rev. Carson Brittain, pastor Ancient City Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Goldie Anderson, his mother, Mrs. Edna Anderson; one daughter Mrs. James V. Hogarth, all of St. Augustine, two sisters, Mrs. C. H. Cowart Sr., Bunnell; Mrs. Effie Hope, Gainesville; one brother, Cecil, St. Augustine; and five grandchildren.
