A Celebration of Life Service for Carl Henry Bratcher, 58, of Bunnell, who passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at his home on Deen Road, will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Pellicer Community Center located at 1380 CR 2007 in Bunnell. The family is providing BBQ and asks that you bring a covered dish or dessert along with your favorite memory.
Henry was born on June 5, 1952, in St. Augustine, Florida to the late Charlotte White and Carl Bratcher. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served in Korea. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where he lived out his frontier dreams. He worked for the City of Fairbanks for over twenty years. He retired and moved home to Bunnell in 2003.
Henry is survived by his daughters, Michelle Hair, Kellie Pierce, and Elissa Bratcher; his grandson, Todd Williams; and two granddaughters, Shealynn Stokley and Aaliyah Rhodes; his beloved nephews, T.J. Bratcher, Chad Bratcher and Michael John Bratcher; and his niece, Rebecca Bratcher. Additional survivors include his three brothers, Tommy Bratcher, Johnny Bratcher and Joe Bratcher.; his five great-nephews and two great-nieces.
Henry also had many dear and close friends. Henry will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of music and all things Southern. Arrangements and cards can be delivered to the home of T.J. and Michelle Bratcher at 500 Atlas St., Bunnell, FL 32110.
