Wilbert Bray, 41, died early yesterday after a long illness. Mr. Bray was a resident of Flagler County for many years and completed his first ten years of schooling in this city. He served a four-year enlistment in the U. S. Navy during World War II.

He was released from a Veterans hospital during the Christmas holidays to visit relatives in Holly Hill. During his visit he suffered a serious stroke and was admitted to Halifax hospital in Daytona Beach.

Surviving are his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Bray of Holly Hill; two brothers, H. E. of Palatka; and Billy Bray in the U. S. Navy in Puerto Rico; four sisters, Mrs. Thad Sizemore and Mrs. J. B. McLarty, Daytona Beach; Mrs. Lewis Bernasboni, and Mrs. Robert Rawlings; of Tampa.

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Bray have not been completed. Haigh and Brooks of Daytona Beach are in charge.
