Robert L. Burnsed, 61, 1301 N. Central Ave., Flagler Beach, died Friday of an apparent heart attack, while visiting friends in Daytona Beach. Mr. Burnsed was born in St.. Johns Park and had lived in this area all his life.
He was a retired electrician, an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II; he had been a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 756 for 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell.
Survivors include his widow, Lee F., Flagler Beach; one daughter, Mrs. Joann King, Bunnell; two stepsons, Charles M. Northrip, Juno, Alaska and Richard A. Northrip, Libertyville, Ill; three sisters, Mrs. Sue Preece, Miami; Mrs. Grace White and Mrs. Mae Willman, both of Port Orange and ten grandchildren. Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bunnell.
Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, Daytona Beach. Burial was in Shady Rest Cemetery, Holly Hill. Pallbearers were Dale Brown, C.H. Cowart, Roger Edwards, Rem Murray, Brice Hosford and Jack Hosford.
