Funeral services for Jerry Ward Cauley, 68, of Bunnell, who passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009, will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach. His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Espanola Cemetery.
Jerry was born on July 17, 1940 in Waycross, GA to the late Joshua and Ella Mae (Ellenbach) Cauley. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was the Owner of Cauley Trucking. Jerry enjoyed Thursday night poker, NASCAR, fishing, and spending time with the 2nd Shift - Hook, Blackman and George.
Survivors include his son, Jason Cauley of Bunnell; his son, Michael Budgen of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughter, Jerrilynn Hazellief and her husband, Gary of Bunnell; daughter, Heather Hamil and her husband, Jimmy of Lecanto, FL; his daughter, Lisa Mullen of Smithtown, NY; his two brothers, Billy Cauley and his wife, Terri of Bunnell and Gene Cauley of Bunnell; his eight grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Tiffany, Patrick, Grace, Dana, Jamie, and PJ; and 40 nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, son, Wayne, and sister, Constance Wimberely. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Jerry to the Florida Hospital Memorial Hospice Care, 875 Sterthaus Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
