COOKEVILLE — Calvin Deen Chastain, 70 of Cookeville, passed from this life Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. 

Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. 

Crest Lawn Funeral Home-Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.

COOKEVILLE — Calvin Deen Chastain, 70, of Cookeville, passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, in St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. 

Inurnment, with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville. 

Mr. Chastain was born April 11, 1945, in Daytona Beach, Florida, to the late Calvin Lake and Donnella (Deen) Chastain. 

He graduated from Nathan B. Forrest High School in 1963, and was a veteran of the Army, serving one tour in Vietnam. 

Calvin is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Lynn Chastain Peterson (Roger) of Dandridge, Tenn., and Melissa Deen Chastain of Clermont, Fla.; two grandchildren; Charles Curtis Dean Doyle (Amy) and Alyssa Donnella Walker; and three great-grandchildren, Lily Marie, Logan Dean and Landen Blake, all of Clermont, Fla.
