Ruth Lynnette Miller, age 70, of Palm Coast, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 3, 2009 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

Ruth was born on July 27, 1939 to Reverend Gerald and Maxine Combs. She had lived most of her life in the Hammock area of Flagler County and assisted her father in operating the family owned business, The Sea Shell Museum on A1A, for over 50 years. Most recently Ruth worked in the Bakery for Publix in Palm Coast. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Ruth will forever be in the hearts of those she loved and will be missed tremendously.

She is survived by sons, Richard S. Miller and his wife, Patricia of Ocala, George Miller of Palm Coast; daughters, Gerry Miller and Ruby Brudey and her husband, Avon-Shawn, all of Palm Coast; a sister, Joyce Taylor of Ocala; a brother, Ellsworth Combs of Pocahontas, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Hammock Community Church, 5299 Oceanshore Boulevard in Palm Coast. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Hammock Community Church. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine is in charge of arrangements.
