FLAGLER BEACH - - James E Crews, Jr, 75, of Audubon Way, a former ironworker for a construction company, died Wednesday at Home.

Mr Crews was born in Baldwin. He lived in Allentown, PA from 1969-1991, between living in Flagler Beach. A Marice Corps veteran of World War II, who earned the Purple Heart, he also served in the Korean War. He was a member of Korona Baptist Church, Korona, and served on the Flagler County School Board from 1963-1967.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Edith; four sons, Jim, Ormond Beach, Scott, Flagler Beach, Jeff, Bunnell, and Greg, St Augustine; four stepsons, Francis Krobath, New Market, VA, Norman Krobath, Allentown, Arthur Keiper, Maryland, and Bary Keiper, Slatington, Pa; a daughter, Wendy Crews, Bunnell; three stepdaughters, Beatrice and Barbara Menges, both of Allentown, and Charlene Nunnemaker, Slatington; a sister, Era Hornsby, Port Charlotte; 28 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Coastal Cremation, Palm Coast, is in charge.
