February 24, 2008VOJNOVSKI Ann C. Vojnovski, 87, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008; Ann was born the daughter of Anthony and Mary Cywinski on October 20, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan.
She had been a resident of Jacksonville for almost fifty years. Ann served her country in the United States Coast Guard as a medic and went on to retire from Seaboard Coastline Railroad. She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Walter Vojnovski.
She is survived by her sister, Emily Smith, nieces, Pamela Vojnovski and Sherry Stinson and her husband, David, nephew, Jimmy Vojnovski and his wife, Geraldine, two brothers-in-law, John Vojnovski and Ed Vojnovski and his wife, Ruth.
The family will receive friends 4:00 P.M. until 6.:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 25, 2008 at Riverside Memorial Park, With Father Luke McLoughlin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Matthews Catholic Church.
