OCALA - - John A Deen, 82, a retired Allstate Insurance agent, died Sunday, July 23, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.

A native of Bunnell, he moved here from Flagler County in 1944. Mr Deen was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Ocala and a member of Greenville Aviation Association. He was a U S Air Force veteran and a civilian flight instructor for the Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanett Deen, Ocala, daughters, Kay Lewis, Ocala and Suzanne Mann, Milton, sister, Dorothy Ward, Lake Butler; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ocala Marion County Veterans Memorial Park.
