Stanley Richard Deen
August 2, 1930 - September 1, 2020



Stanley passed away at his childhood home in Bunnell, Flagler County on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Stanley passed peacefully with his beloved wife of 36 years, Sue Schultz Deen by his side.

Stanley, son of Emmett Deen and Gladys Close Deen was the last remaining patriarch of the original Deen Family, one of the first families that settled in Flagler County.

A note sent to friends by Sue, express his passing best: “…, my sweet husband of 36 years, Stanley R. Deen, Sr., joined Jesus in heaven. God has blessed us with all these beautiful years as husband and wife and although my heart is broken, I rejoice knowing he is healed and finally rid of the earthly body that was holding him down. Stanley is in heaven walking with Jesus. I miss him terribly, but I will be with him once again when I too, head to Glory. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-1.”

Stanley was a retired structural engineer and a talented woodworker. Along with his loving wife, left behind 6 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all.

Honoring Stanley’s request there will be no services held.

Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
