OKEECHOBEE - Walker Lee "Red" Dunson III, of North West 16th Street, who has relatives in the Bunnell and Palm Coast areas, died Saturday at home. 

Mr. Dunson, a dairy person, was born in Mecklenburg County, N.C. 

Survivors include three sons, Roger, Lake Worth, Robert, Hollywood, and James, Okeechobee; three sisters, Priscilla Bortolone, Boynton Beach, Margie Tipsword, Lake Worth, and Joan Crawford, Okeechobee; a brother, Robert, Flagler Beach; three sisters, Virginia, Palatka; Aileen Harding, Bunnell, and Ruby Jarosz, Palm Coast; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.

DUNSON - Walker Lee "Red" III, 79, of Okeechobee, FL died September 23, 2000. Born July 7, 1921 in Mecklenberg County, NC, he was a Dairyman by profession.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Lee Dunson (1973) and a son Walker Lee "Butch" Dunson II (1983).

Survived by sons, Roger Daniel Dunson of Lake Worth, Robert Dale Dunson of Hollywood and James Neveille Dunson of Okeechobee; daughters, Priscilla Dunson Bortolone of Boynton Beach, Margie Dunson Tipsword of Lake Worth, Joan Dunson Crawford of Okeechobee; brother, Robert Dunson of Flager Beach; sisters, Virginia of Palatka, Aileen Harding of Bunnell and Ruby Jarosz of Palm Coast; sister-in-law, Catherine A. Mann of Okeechobee; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at 10:00 AM in Bass Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Stofel officiating. Visitation Tuesday, September 26, 2000 from 5 to 8 PM at Bass Funeral Home. Burial in New Mount Zion Cemetery in Ona, FL.
