Everette E. Durrance, 61, Bunnell, lifelong resident of Flagler County and son of a pioneer family, died Saturday at 11:50 p.m. at Bunnell General Hospital after an extended illness.

He was a retired cattleman and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his mother, Mrs. Rosa Durrance, Bunnell; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Sparkman, Mrs. Mayetta Bass, Mrs. Frankie Giddens, and Mrs. Marsha Harris, all of Bunnell; a son, Gene, Flagler Beach; four stepsons, Herbie McKelvin, Cari McKelvin, Larry McKelvin and Floyd McKelvin, all of Bunnell; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Moran and Mrs. Pearl Woods, both of Bunnell; Mrs. Bessie Brooks, Fort Meyers: Mrs.: Frances Yelvington, Cocoa; and Mrs. Phynis Dawson, New Jersey; three brothers, Guy, New Smyrna; and George and Hiram, both of Bunnell; 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Graveside in Hope Cemetery. Elder Tilton, Palatka, Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints officiated.

Pallbearers were Cary Holland, Kent Holland, Joe Kelly, Stanley Cowart, John Johnston and Albert Johnston.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell was in charge.
